Gender Empowerment Meeting in Faryab
In Faryab province, we organized an impactful event focused on gender empowerment, bringing together a diverse group of women to discuss challenges and opportunities in their communities. We held a national cohesion and democracy advocacy meeting in Kunar province, bringing together community and religious leaders, as well as youth representatives. In Nangarhar province, we convened a gathering with all representatives of Mehwar-e-Tahood from various districts and villages. During the meeting, valuable advice was shared, and we engaged in meaningful discussions on peace, countering violent extremism (CVE), and development initiatives. Emphasizing the importance of community participation, the gathering also focused on promoting education, particularly for girls, as a cornerstone for sustainable progress. This event reinforced our commitment to working together towards a peaceful, inclusive, and educated society in Nangarhar.
AOC Youth Representative Meeting in Kabul
At the Axis of Commitment (AOC) Youth Representative Meeting in Kabul, which brought together participants from all 34 provinces, we focused on the crucial role of youth in promoting fair and transparent elections. We discussed the importance of voting for candidates who are clean and not involved in war crimes, corruption, or human rights violations. Additionally, strategies were developed to encourage women's participation in the electoral process, both as voters and as candidates at the provincial level.
