National Afghan Student Peace Project Competition

The primary purpose of this project was to understand what peace means to the young population of Afghanistan who continues with their normal lives in regions where war occurs on a regular basis. The project focused on high school students, irrespective of gender difference, in some of the volatile regions, i.e. Paktiya, Ghardez, Helmand, and Maidan Wardak provinces of Afghanistan. In these provinces war and its hardships leaving real-life activities to a standstill due blockage of highways, roads, and business is a real-life situation that people go through regularly. This project aimed to provide an opportunity for Afghan youth from a number of selected high schools to freely speak out their perception of peace that what peace means to them.
Economic Resilience through Comprehensive Livelihood Support Project in Afghanistan

Locations: Provinces of Kunduz, Baghlan, Badakhshan
The Economic Resilience through Comprehensive Livelihood Support Project, funded by Denmark's development cooperation (DANIDA), focused on enhancing family nutrition and empowering women through backyard poultry production in Afghanistan. Organization for Change (OC) led sensitization meetings and collaborated with community-based disaster management committees (CBDMCs) to select 1185 female participants across Kunduz, Baghlan, and Badakhshan provinces. These women, primarily poor widows and those with disabled children, received essential poultry inputs, including chickens, feeds, and vaccines, to support small-scale, family-managed poultry production. This initiative not only improved poultry production but also provided a sustainable livelihood for the beneficiaries.
Community Livestock and Agriculture Support Project (CLASP)

The Community Livestock and Agriculture Support Project (CLASP) aims to boost agricultural and livestock productivity, improving food security for nearly 17,000 rural households across selected districts in Kabul, Nooristan, Kunar, and Laghman provinces. The project places special emphasis on reducing gender disparities by enhancing the social and economic status of women. CLASP focuses on building productive assets, skills, and income opportunities for small-scale farmers, livestock keepers, female-headed households, and nomadic Kuchi communities. The project is structured around three key components: community development, livestock and agriculture advancement, and comprehensive project management. Additionally, the project aims to strengthen value chain linkages, enabling smallholders to better access markets.
Procurement, Supply and Installation of 120 Commercial Plastic Tunnels with High-Efficient Irrigation Systems and Training

Duration: 1st March 2021 – 31st December 2022
Locations: Balkh, Baghlan, Takhar, and Badakhshan provinces, Afghanistan
This DFID-funded project focused on constructing 120 commercial plastic tunnels across the provinces of Balkh, Baghlan, Takhar, and Badakhshan in Afghanistan. These tunnels are designed to provide fresh vegetables to communities during the off-season when traditional vegetable production is not feasible due to the cold climate in these highland areas. The Organization for Change (OC) facilitated the installation of these plastic tunnels and provided essential training to rural women on various aspects of vegetable production, including seed selection, bed preparation, transplantation, and pest management. By empowering women in agriculture, this project not only enhances food security but also contributes to economic independence in rural communities, where opportunities are scarce.
National Horticulture & Livestock Project, 30 Layer Improved Backyard Poultry Production

TLO/OC the implementing partner (IP) based in Jawzjan and Sar-i-Pul provinces had to implement 30 layer backyard poultry production project in Sheberghan and Khwaja doko districts of Jawzjan province and Markaz and Syad districts of Sar-i-pul province, covering 1000 most vulnerable families who are interested in poultry rearing, willing to attend trainings, able to construct coops and have access to the local market, initial project coordination meeting held with provincial DAIL, District Governors, representative of DAIL in the district, District Development Assembly (DDA), Community Development Councils and Community elder as well as NHLP regional team at Mazar and provincial teams in both Jawzjan and Sar-I-Pul Provinces.
Paktiya High School Peace Speech Competition Project
High School Peace Speech Competition Project is conducted among the students of Haleema Khazan High School in Gardiz, Pakitya participated by the 89 students. The panel members were women affairs director, teachers and the monitoring team. Three students were selected as winner. The winners have received their awards of note books, pens and school bags including Shaals.
Helmand High School Peace Articles Competition
Fund Provider: Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock
Duration of the Project: 1st January -31st January 2018
The Peace Articles competition project is implemented in Malalai Lecee (High School), in Lashkargah, Helmand province . The competition is conducted among 120 female students supervised by the provincial directorate of education, teachers and monitoring personnel. The students were also given the peace messages.
Maidan Wardak Province:
The speech competition was conducted in Afghan Sayed Jamaluddin High School in Maidan Wardak Province participated by more than hundred students. The students were evaluated based on the speech communication and public speaking, content, the peace message criteria .
National Horticulture and Livestock Project (NHLP)
The National Horticulture and Livestock Project (NHLP) is a project of Ministry of Agriculture, irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) and will contribute to the overreaching goal of increased productivity and overall production of horticulture products and improved animal production and health.
The liaison Office (TLO) and Organization for Change (OC) will assist the MAIL of the government of Afghanistan (GoA) to implement the improved backyard poultry model of the national horticulture and livestock program from 15 May 2017 until August 2018.
Production of TV Commercials for Etisalat
In 2012, 2014, and 2015, our sister company, Allkhanan, in collaboration with Organization for Change Digital Media, produced a series of impactful television commercials (TVCs) for Etisalat Afghanistan. These campaigns were pivotal in enhancing Etisalat’s brand visibility and customer engagement in the region. By leveraging creative storytelling and top-notch production quality, Allkhanan played a crucial role in helping Etisalat, the Middle East’s leading telecommunications operator with a market value of Dh81 billion (US$22 billion) and annual revenues surpassing Dh32.9 billion (US$9 billion), effectively communicate its message to a wide audience. This strategic partnership significantly reinforced Etisalat’s position as a premier telecommunications provider in Afghanistan.
Promotional Video and 3D Model Visibility
Through our sister company, Allkhanan, partnered with the Afghanistan Cricket Board to elevate the Shpageeza Cricket League's promotion and appeal. This collaboration involved creating an engaging promotional video, a comprehensive presentation for the league, and a 3D model of the Alokozay Cricket Stadium. The presentation was prominently featured during the Shpageeza ceremony, which was attended by leading Afghan CEOs and business leaders at the Kabul Serena Hotel, and broadcast live on One TV. These efforts significantly contributed to boosting the league's visibility and connecting with the local business community.
MCL Promos, Commercials and Branding
For the past three seasons, Organization for Change, through its sister company Allkhanan, has been instrumental in managing the promos, commercials, and branding for the Million Cricket League (MCL), Afghanistan’s premier cricket event. The 2017 season marked the fourth edition of the MCL, hosted by Loba Cricket Club with support from the Afghanistan Cricket Board. Featuring five teams and over 250 cricket players and officials, the MCL is poised to draw 100,000 attendees and capture the attention of over one million TV viewers, making it the largest private sporting event in the country. Our efforts have significantly boosted the league’s visibility and contributed to its continued success.
Historical and Cultural Gallery Book
Organization for Change, through its sister company Allkhanan, collaborated with Afghan Art Production to create a Historical and Cultural Gallery Book for the Ministry of Information & Culture. This unique publication showcases images from original photographers, accompanied by meticulously researched information that captures the rich cultural tapestry of the Afghan nation. The book will be distributed in every country with Afghan embassies, ensuring global accessibility and promoting Afghan culture to a worldwide audience. This initiative reflects our commitment to preserving and sharing Afghanistan’s heritage with the world.
Creative Production of Video Commercial
Organization for Change, through its sister company, Allkhanan, delivered a comprehensive range of creative services for MTN Afghanistan. This included the production of a dynamic video commercial that effectively captured the brand's message and vision. Additionally, the organization conducted a professional photoshoot that brought together individuals from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds across Afghanistan. This approach not only showcased the rich tapestry of the nation's heritage but also emphasized the inclusivity and unity that MTN Afghanistan stands for. The project successfully highlighted the beauty of Afghanistan's diversity, resonating deeply with the target audience and reinforcing the brand’s commitment to celebrating all Afghan communities.
Still and Animated Artwork and Print Material
Organization for Change through its sister company, collaborated with the World Health Organization during the COVID-19 pandemic, creating innovative artworks used by WHO - Afghanistan across social media and TV channels. Additionally, millions of posters and banners were printed for this campaign. During the COVID-19 crisis, WHO - Afghanistan launched a public awareness campaign, and Organization for Change contributed both still and animated artworks, as well as print materials, to support this vital initiative.
Creative Services - Rebranding
Shamshad TV, a leading satellite television station in Afghanistan, was launched in early 2006. It broadcasts 24/7, offering a variety of programming, including educational content, news, dramas, and entertainment. Serving both local and international audiences, most of its content (90%) is in Pashto, making it particularly popular in Afghanistan's southern regions. Since its inception, the Organization for Change, through its sister company, has been Shamshad TV's creative partner, guiding its visual and strategic direction. In 2017, the Organization for Change rebranded Shamshad TV, refreshing its visual identity and enhancing its brand image to stay competitive in the media landscape.
TV Commercial Production - Cowboy
Pashtany Bank, controlled by the Afghan government, manages the Central Bank of Afghanistan. In 2012, the Organization for Change, through its sister comapany, Allkhanan, partnered with Pashtany Bank to create a television commercial titled “Cowboy.” At the Organization for Change, we pursue excellence in all our creations, whether it’s a film, game, or artwork. For the “Cowboy” ad, we were inspired by the classic Western film “The Good, The Bad & The Ugly.” The commercial was a great success, earning Pashtany Bank the “Best Ad of the Year” award from The World Bank in Afghanistan.
Multi-media Production Services
The Election Campaign is a key aspect of our creative work. During the 2018 Afghanistan Parliament Election, the Organization for Change, through its sister company, successfully supported 32 candidates from various provinces. We provided comprehensive solutions, including designing artworks for print and social media, creating video commercials (ads, animations, messages, and voiceovers), printing and installing billboards, and producing various marketing and promotional items. Our efforts contributed significantly to the success of these campaigns, showcasing our expertise in political marketing and media production.
Multi-media Creative Production Services
WESA Academy, founded in 2012, is the first English medium institution in Kandahar, Afghanistan, offering an Oxford curriculum—a novel concept for the province. The Organization for Change has played a crucial role in delivering a full range of creative services to WESA Academy, including print design, video commercials, and social media post designs. These efforts have significantly contributed to WESA Academy's distinctiveness among private educational institutions in the province.
Ensemble Techniques: Visa Applicant Predictive Model for Easy Visa
We implemented a data science project for EasyVisa, aimed at enhancing the visa approval process through predictive modeling. The project involved analyzing visa applicants' data to build a model that predicts visa approval or denial based on key influencing factors. By applying advanced machine learning techniques, including Bagging Classifiers, Boosting Classifiers (AdaBoost, Gradient Boosting, XGBoost), and Stacking Classifiers, the model streamlined the visa evaluation process, offering recommendations on applicants' eligibility. The project also encompassed customer profiling, hyperparameter tuning using GridSearchCV, and delivering actionable business insights.

Hotel Booking Cancellation Prediction Model for INN Hotels
Our consultant developed a predictive model to identify potential hotel booking cancellations for INN Hotels, enabling the company to optimize its cancellation and refund policies. By analyzing key factors that influenced cancellations, the team created a model using logistic regression and decision trees to predict cancellations in advance. The model provided actionable insights, allowing INN Hotels to improve its policy strategies and reduce revenue losses. The project also focused on finding optimal thresholds through the AUC-ROC curve and refining decision trees using pruning techniques.

We created a dynamic pricing model for ReCell to optimize pricing strategies for used and refurbished devices. By analyzing the dataset of used devices, the team applied linear regression to identify key factors influencing device prices. The resulting model enabled ReCell to develop a flexible pricing strategy, ensuring competitive pricing while maximizing profitability. Business insights and actionable recommendations were also provided to guide the company’s decision-making.

Landing Page Effectiveness Analysis for E-news Express
Our consultant conducted a statistical analysis for E-news Express to determine the effectiveness of a new landing page in attracting new subscribers. Using A/B testing and data visualization, the project evaluated key metrics such as conversion rates and time spent on the page. Additionally, the relationship between user language preference and subscription conversion was analyzed. This analysis provided valuable insights to guide E-news Express in optimizing their landing page for better user engagement and increased subscription rates.

Order Data Analysis for FoodHub
Our consultant conducted an in-depth data analysis for FoodHub, a leading food aggregator platform, using Python. The project aimed to derive actionable business insights from the company's customer order data by addressing key questions posed by the data science team. Through exploratory data analysis, including univariate and bi-variate analysis, the consultant identified trends in customer behavior, order preferences, and peak demand times.
